JRMA held a clean up event for our newest adopted section of highway: Mile Marker 5 to 6 on NM502 (the Main Hill Rd) leading into Los Alamos. It was quite an effort as that area is mostly made up of very narrow stretches between a cliff side and a steep canyon. We all wore high-vis vests and used traffic cones to guide motorists away from us. It took 7 hrs but we picked up more than 50 bags of trash along with car parts, road signs and other large debris. Thank you to everyone that showed up and helped.
