  • Always wear safety gear

  • Assume no one sees you

  • Stay out of driver’s blind spot

  • Ride to your ability

  • Ride Defensively

  • Take a motorcycle safety course

  • Conduct pre-ride inspections

  • Use both brakes

  • Respect everyone on the road

  • Leave room for an escape route

  • Educate your passengers

  • Invest in antilock brakes

  • Keep our distance

  • Use your turn signals

  • Watch for road hazards
